Terms of Use

Last updated 29 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-29-draft-3

Draft. This page is being finalised before launch.

Please read these Terms of Use carefully. Clause 27 contains a binding individual arbitration agreement and a waiver of class actions and jury trials, each applying to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, subject to consumers’ rights under clause 27.5 and your right to opt out under clause 27.6.

1. Preamble and Parties

1.1 These Terms of Use govern your use of codingliquids.com and its courses and form a binding agreement between you and Coding Liquids.

1.2 “Coding Liquids”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean M/S Coding Liquids, a sole proprietorship of Sagnik Bhattacharya, 13/3 Nabapally Main Road, Kolkata 700104, India, hello@codingliquids.com.

1.3 Where the checkout names the Payment Partner, it sells each Licence to you as reseller and merchant of record under its own buyer terms; otherwise, including in India, Coding Liquids sells directly and Razorpay collects payment on its behalf. In every case Coding Liquids creates, supplies and licenses the Content.

1.4 The Agreement is an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and requires no signature.

2. Definitions and Interpretation

2.1 The “Agreement” means these Terms of Use, the Refund Policy and each Order Summary, as amended under clause 29. The Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy are notices, not contractual terms.

2.2 In the Agreement:

“Account” means a Learner’s personal account on the Platform.

“AI Assistant” means the “Ask AI” feature, which answers questions about a Course by means of artificial intelligence, and “AI Answer” means its output.

“Applicable Law” means the law applying to the person or matter concerned, including mandatory consumer law.

“Business Day” means a day other than a Saturday, a Sunday or a public holiday in Kolkata, India.

“Consumer” means an individual acting wholly or mainly outside that individual’s trade, business or profession.

“Content” means all material made available on the Platform by or for Coding Liquids.

“Course” means a programme of pre-recorded video lessons (“Lessons”) under one title, and “Course Content” means a Course’s Lessons and materials reserved to holders of a Licence, including support replies and AI Answers.

“Creator” means Coding Liquids and every instructor, narrator or other contributor who creates Content with it.

“Imported Learner” means a buyer from our previous platform whose email address we have imported.

“Instructor” means the instructor of a Course or any teaching assistant appointed by Coding Liquids.

“Learner”, “you” and “your” refer to any user of the Platform and to any organisation for which a user accepts the Agreement.

“Licence” means a licence under clause 6.1, held as an “Individual Licence” bought for your own use, through a Team Seat, as an Imported Learner or by grant.

“Order” means a purchase on the Platform, and “Order Summary” means the page presenting its contents, price and conditions before payment.

“Payment Partner” means [PAYMENT PARTNER], our payment partner, which, where the checkout names it, acts as the merchant of record for the purchase, issues your invoice and is the seller of record for that transaction, or any successor named at checkout. A “Partner Purchase” is paid for through the Payment Partner, and an “Razorpay Purchase” through Razorpay Software Private Limited (“Razorpay”).

“Platform” means codingliquids.com, including the Blog, the student area, the player and the support inbox, but not separately named products on its subdomains.

“Purchase Date” means the date on which the Payment Partner or Razorpay confirms payment to us.

“Team Plan” means an Order of several “Team Seats”, each a Licence for one person at a time; “Team Member” means the holder of a Team Seat; and “Team Administrator” means the purchasing Account and any additional administrator it names.

2.3 “Including” means including without limitation; “in writing” includes email; our discretions are exercisable in our sole discretion, subject to Applicable Law; and “lifetime access” always bears the meaning given in clause 7.

3. Acceptance and Eligibility

3.1 By using the Platform you agree to the Agreement so far as it applies to that use; if you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

3.2 The Order Summary makes the Agreement available before payment. You accept the Agreement by ticking the box on the Order Summary before you pay, whose wording is: “I am at least 18 and I accept the Terms of Use and the Refund Policy.” No Order can be placed without that tick, and we record the version of these Terms and the time as evidence. Nothing further is asked of you after payment: your access begins at once (clause 18.9). Imported Learners and Team Members, who place no Order, accept the Agreement with the same confirmation of age when they first sign in.

3.3 The Platform is for adults only: you must be at least 18 to hold an Account or a Licence. If we believe that an Account belongs to someone under 18, we may restrict it, delete its optional profile information and close it.

3.4 If you accept the Agreement for an organisation, including by purchasing a Team Plan, you warrant that you are authorised to bind it.

4. Access and Registration

4.1 There is no public sign-up: Accounts are created by a purchase, a Team Seat invitation, an import or our grant, and an Imported Learner’s Account uses the imported email address, corrected on reasonable evidence.

4.2 You sign in with a short-lived, single-use link sent to your Account email, which you must not forward, or through Google, which we link only to an email address that Google reports as verified. The Platform uses no passwords.

4.3 Your Account is personal to one individual, and you must not share it, its sign-in links or its sessions. You are responsible for all activity under it and for securing its email account, and you must tell us at once of any unauthorised use.

4.4 Keep your Account details accurate; we may refuse a suspicious change of email address.

4.5 We may limit concurrent sessions and devices (currently five sessions per Account) and the rate and number of Lessons opened, change those limits, end sessions and require fresh sign-in.

4.6 We may monitor sessions, devices, country of access and the pattern of Lesson requests to detect account sharing, scraping, recording, redistribution, fraud and abuse and, on reasonable suspicion, may without notice block requests, end sessions, require identity checks, suspend access or act under clause 20.

5. The Service, Courses and Preview Lessons

5.1 Courses consist of pre-recorded video Lessons with captions and, where offered, other materials, streamed through the Platform only and without live classes, coaching or tutoring unless the Order Summary says so. No Lesson, audio track, caption or transcript is offered for download, and no right to download, record or keep a copy is granted.

5.2 The Courses stream in current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, and about 5 Mbps is recommended; your devices, connection and data charges are your responsibility, and we may set and adapt video quality, up to 1080p.

5.3 Selected Lessons may be watched free of charge without a Licence (“Preview Lessons”). Clauses 6, 13 and 16 apply to them, and we may change or withdraw them at any time.

5.4 Descriptions and durations are approximate. For valid reasons, such as keeping a Course current or meeting legal, technical or security needs, we may update, reorder, re-record, replace or remove Lessons and change instructors, narrators or features at no extra cost, provided that each Course still corresponds substantially to its description at purchase. Where Applicable Law gives a Consumer rights for a change affecting access or use in more than a minor way, we will inform you and you keep those rights.

5.5 Course Content will conform to the Agreement as Applicable Law requires; if it does not, you have the remedies that law gives, and we will first seek to correct it.

5.6 Courses are provided in English. Languages or dubbed audio tracks added later are included at no extra charge but are not promised.

6. Licence to Use

6.1 Subject to the Agreement and to payment in full, Coding Liquids grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable licence, for the Access Period, to stream through the Platform the Course Content of each Course for which you hold a Licence, solely for your own non-commercial learning or, for a Team Member, the internal learning of the purchasing organisation.

6.2 You may view public Content, link to it and quote short extracts with attribution as the law permits. Exercise files within a Course may be used only for its exercises.

6.3 You must not, and must not permit or assist anyone to:

(a) copy, download, record or capture Course Content by any means, including screen recording or cameras;

(b) distribute, publish, stream, sell, rent, sublicense or otherwise make Course Content available to anyone, including through file-sharing, social media, messaging groups or group-buy schemes;

(c) share your Account, sign-in links or sessions, or use another person’s account;

(d) circumvent or remove any encryption, access token, referrer restriction, rate limit, watermark or other protection;

(e) use robots, scrapers or other automated means on Course Content or signed-in areas;

(f) adapt Course Content or use it for any competing course, product or service;

(g) use Course Content or AI Answers to train or develop any artificial intelligence model;

(h) reverse engineer the Platform or its player, except as the law expressly permits; or

(i) use the Platform or any Content unlawfully.

6.4 Course Content may display, visibly or invisibly, your email address or another identifier to deter and trace copying, and you consent to this.

6.5 Any breach of clause 6.3 ends the affected Licence automatically, without refund so far as the law permits and without prejudice to other remedies, including injunctions and damages.

6.6 The Licence is a licence to view, not a sale; all rights not expressly granted are reserved.

7. Access Period and Lifetime Access

7.1 “Lifetime access” means access for 10 years from the date of purchase for an Individual Licence and 5 years for each Team Seat, for as long as the Course remains offered on codingliquids.com.

7.2 Accordingly, the “Access Period” is 10 years from the Purchase Date for an Individual Licence, 5 years from its own Purchase Date for a Team Seat, 10 years from import for an Imported Learner (self-paced, without the Instructor Support Option) and the stated period for any other grant, in each case while the Course remains offered and subject to earlier termination.

7.3 We may retire, replace or withdraw a Course at any time and at our sole discretion, including during your Access Period, with notice by email where practicable. Nothing in these Terms obliges us to provide a replacement course or a refund in that event, save where applicable consumer law requires it. No download or copy of a retired Course is ever provided.

7.4 The Access Period is not extended by non-use, suspension, reassignment or added content, and it ends early on refund, payment reversal, revocation or termination. Certificates already issued remain valid unless revoked under clause 11.5.

8. Team Plans

8.1 Unless the Order Summary states otherwise, Team Seats bought in one Order are discounted by 10% for 5 to 9 seats, 15% for 10 to 19 and 20% for 20 or more. The discount is not retrospective, does not combine with other discounts unless we say so and may change for future Orders.

8.2 Through the team area, the Team Administrator may invite and remove Team Members by email, reassign each Team Seat no more than twice, see its Team Members’ names, email addresses, progress and Certificates, buy more seats and name one additional Team Administrator; it sees only its own team.

8.3 Each Team Member must be at least 18, use their own Account and accept the Agreement on first sign-in. Each Team Seat has an Access Period of 5 years under clause 7.2. Reassignment neither restarts nor extends a Team Seat’s Access Period, ends the previous holder’s access at once and transfers no progress, and a seat’s Support Window belongs to its holder at activation.

8.4 The purchaser shall ensure that its Team Members comply with the Agreement and know that the Team Administrator sees their progress, and is liable for their breaches so far as the law permits. A Team Plan bought for a business is a business purchase, to which Consumer rights do not apply.

8.5 Team Seat refunds follow the Refund Policy; a refund that takes the team below its discount band is reduced so that the seats kept bear the discount for their number.

9. Instructor Support Option

9.1 Where a Licence is bought with one month of instructor support (the “Instructor Support Option”), the option may be activated once, from the Course, at any time in the Access Period; it then runs for 30 consecutive days (the “Support Window”) and cannot be paused, extended, transferred or restarted.

9.2 During the Support Window you may ask written questions about the Course in the box under the relevant Lesson, each linked to its lecture number; we may limit their number (currently ten a day).

9.3 The Instructor aims to reply within 2 Business Days of receipt. That aim is a target, not a guarantee; it does not apply to any question answered by the AI Assistant, and missing it gives no right to a refund or compensation unless Applicable Law requires. Replies may come from a teaching assistant, named in the reply.

9.4 The service covers explanations of what the Course teaches and guidance on its exercises. It excludes reviewing or debugging entire personal projects, workbooks or codebases; writing code, formulas or spreadsheets for you; topics the Course does not teach; consulting, coaching, mentoring, tutoring and career, financial or legal advice; and calls, live sessions and screen sharing. We may decline or close out-of-scope, repetitive or abusive questions.

9.5 The option ends with the Support Window or, if earlier, with its Licence.

10. AI Assistant

10.1 Where offered, AI Answers are generated by an AI system from the Course material, including the relevant Lesson’s transcript and the Course outline, and from your question; the Instructor does not write them, and each is labelled as coming from the AI assistant.

10.2 AI Answers are informational, may be inaccurate, incomplete or outdated, are not reviewed before display and are not professional advice. They are not statements, promises or commitments of Coding Liquids, including about refunds, access, prices or Certificates, and the Instructor may correct or withdraw them.

10.3 You must verify an AI Answer before relying on it; so far as the law permits, we are not liable for reliance on AI Answers.

10.4 You may send an AI-answered question to the Instructor, and we may give an AI Answer to any question not answered within the aim in clause 9.3.

10.5 Your question, its conversation and the Course material are processed by our AI service provider as the Privacy Policy describes; no audio is ever sent to it.

10.6 We may limit, suspend or withdraw the AI Assistant, and you must not try to make it produce unlawful or unrelated content or reveal its instructions. It decides nothing about your Account, Orders, refunds, access or Certificates.

11. Certificates of Completion

11.1 When a Learner holding a Licence reaches a Course’s Completion Threshold, Coding Liquids issues a “Certificate of Completion issued by Coding Liquids” (a “Certificate”), by email as a PDF and in the student area, one per Learner per Course.

11.2 The “Completion Threshold” of a Course is 50% of its Lessons, as recorded by the Platform, whose records are conclusive in the absence of manifest error. For the purposes of the Agreement, the Certificate and the verification page, a Learner who reaches it has completed the Course, and the Certificate and the verification page state that the Course has been completed.

11.3 A Certificate confirms only the fact it states; it is not accredited and confers no academic credit, qualification, certification or licence.

11.4 A Certificate shows your name as you choose it in your profile, and we may refuse a misleading, offensive or false name. Anyone with its code or link can see on its verification page the Course, the date of issue and that name.

11.5 We may revoke a Certificate if its Licence is refunded, reversed or ended under clause 20, or if it was obtained by fraud, automation, account sharing or manipulated progress; the verification page then shows it as revoked.

11.6 We may issue a Certificate to an Imported Learner who completed the Course on our previous platform. Once a Certificate is issued, the voluntary money-back guarantee no longer applies to that Course; statutory rights are unaffected.

12. Communications

12.1 You agree to receive communications electronically, by email and on the Platform, and that they satisfy any legal requirement of writing. Sign-in links, receipts, Certificates, support notifications and Account notices are part of the service; marketing emails are sent only with your opt-in, and each contains an unsubscribe link.

12.2 Support messages are visible only to you, the Instructor and teaching assistants.

13. Code of Conduct

13.1 You must use the Platform lawfully and respectfully and must not: (a) send unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful, harassing or discriminatory content; (b) abuse the Instructor, teaching assistants or other Learners; (c) send spam or solicitations; (d) impersonate anyone; (e) upload malware; (f) seek unauthorised access to, probe or load-test any account, the administrative areas or our systems; (g) interfere with anyone else’s use of the Platform; (h) misuse the AI Assistant contrary to clause 10.6; (i) make false complaints, reports or refund requests; or (j) help anyone to do any of these things.

13.2 Where this clause is breached, we may remove content, restrict features, act under clause 20 and report unlawful conduct to the authorities.

14. Learner Content and Questions

14.1 “Learner Content” means the questions, messages, reviews, profile information, Feedback and other material you submit. You are solely responsible for it and warrant that you may submit it, that it infringes no right and breaches no law, and that it contains no passwords, access keys or others’ confidential information or personal data beyond what your question needs.

14.2 You retain ownership of your Learner Content. Unless you tell us otherwise in writing, you grant Coding Liquids a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual and fully sublicensable licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, publish, display and distribute it in any media to operate, improve and promote the Platform and the Courses. We will not publish a question under your name without your consent.

14.3 So far as the law permits, you waive any moral rights in your Learner Content as against Coding Liquids and its licensees, and we may, without obligation, review, edit, refuse or remove any Learner Content.

15. Reviews

15.1 Where reviews are offered, only a Learner who holds or has held a Licence for a Course may review it, once, reflecting genuine experience; we may also show selected feedback first posted on our previous platform, identified as such.

15.2 We may refuse or remove a review only if it: (a) is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful or harassing; (b) discloses another person’s personal data; (c) contains advertising or spam; (d) does not concern the Course or the reviewer’s experience of it; (e) infringes intellectual property rights or reproduces Course Content; (f) comes from someone who has not taken the Course, from or for a competitor, or for an undisclosed incentive; (g) duplicates a review or was submitted by automated means; or (h) impersonates another person. We do not remove a review because it is negative.

15.3 Each removal is recorded with its reason and the author is told by email, and anyone may use the “Report this review” link. Reviews by Learners given free access are labelled, we do not pay for reviews, and we may show a reviewer’s first name and last initial (or the name they used publicly), the date and the rating.

16. Intellectual Property

16.1 The Platform and all Content are owned by or licensed to Coding Liquids and the Creators and are protected by intellectual property laws worldwide. You acquire no right in them except under clause 6.

16.2 “Coding Liquids” and the flask logo are trade marks of Coding Liquids. Third-party names used in the Content, such as Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Flutter and Dart, belong to their owners and imply no affiliation or endorsement.

16.3 To report material that infringes your copyright or other rights, email hello@codingliquids.com with the subject “Copyright complaint”, identifying the work, the page address and your contact details and confirming that you own the rights or act for their owner. We may remove the material while we review it, and we may end the Accounts of repeat infringers.

17. Feedback

17.1 “Feedback” means any suggestion, idea or comment you give us about the Platform, the Courses or Coding Liquids. You grant Coding Liquids a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual and irrevocable right to use, reproduce, modify, disclose and exploit Feedback for any purpose without compensation or attribution; Feedback is not confidential and gives you no right in the Platform.

18. Payments and Refunds

18.1 The price you pay is the price shown on the Order Summary, in the currency shown there. Prices are net of tax; taxes are added at checkout or included where local law requires, and the total payable is shown on the Order Summary before you pay.

18.2 For a Partner Purchase, the Payment Partner sells you the Licence as reseller and merchant of record, collecting payment and tax, issuing the invoice and handling refunds and chargebacks under its own buyer terms, which you accept at checkout and which prevail on payment matters. Coding Liquids remains responsible to you for the Course Content and the Agreement.

18.3 For an Razorpay Purchase, Coding Liquids is the seller, Razorpay collects the payment for it under Razorpay’s terms, and we email you a receipt naming Coding Liquids as the seller.

18.4 The payment route offered depends on the country we detect, and the route you pay by determines the seller. Any Order may be declined, including to prevent fraud or to comply with sanctions.

18.5 A Licence takes effect only when the Payment Partner or Razorpay confirms payment directly to us, never on a browser redirect, screenshot or other evidence; if confirmation is delayed, we email you a sign-in link once it arrives.

18.6 Discount codes follow their stated conditions and have no cash value. We may cancel, with a full refund, any Order placed with a misused code or at an obviously mistaken price, and we may change prices for future Orders.

18.7 If a payment is refunded, reversed or charged back, every Licence, Team Seat and Support Window acquired with it ends and related Certificates may be revoked; we may suspend an Account while a payment dispute is open.

18.8 Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy. Our voluntary money-back guarantee gives a full refund if you ask within 14 days of the Purchase Date, provided that less than 5% of the Course has been watched and no Certificate has been issued for it. These conditions apply only to that guarantee and do not limit your statutory rights as a Consumer, including under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Australian Consumer Law and India’s Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

18.9 By accepting the Agreement on the Order Summary you ask us to give you access to the Course immediately after payment and, if you are a Consumer in the EU, the EEA or the UK, you acknowledge that your 14-day right of withdrawal ends when that access begins (clause 19). We record your acceptance and repeat this in your purchase confirmation email. The voluntary money-back guarantee in clause 18.8 still applies.

19. Withdrawal Information for Consumers in the EU, the EEA and the UK

19.1 Consumers habitually resident in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days of its conclusion without giving any reason. To exercise the right, you must inform us (M/S Coding Liquids, 13/3 Nabapally Main Road, Kolkata 700104, India, hello@codingliquids.com) of your decision by an unequivocal statement, for example an email or a letter sent by post, before the withdrawal period expires. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. For a Partner Purchase, we pass your notice to the Payment Partner, which you may also notify directly.

19.2 If you withdraw, all payments received from you are reimbursed without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision, using the same means of payment as you used unless you have expressly agreed otherwise, and without any fee to you; for a Partner Purchase, the Payment Partner reimburses you.

19.3 The right of withdrawal ends when we begin to supply the digital content by giving you access to the Course, after you have expressly requested immediate access and acknowledged that you thereby lose the right, which you do by accepting the Agreement on the Order Summary as described in clause 18.9, and we have confirmed this to you by email. Because access is given immediately after payment, the right ends at that point.

20. Suspension and Termination

20.1 Coding Liquids may suspend or end access to any Account at its discretion at any time, including for account sharing, copying or redistributing Content, fraud, abuse, chargeback abuse or unlawful use. This does not affect rights that cannot be excluded by law.

20.2 When access to an Account ends, every Licence, Team Seat and Support Window held through it ends, Certificates may be revoked for breach or fraud, and, so far as the law permits, no refund is due where the reason is your breach.

20.3 You may delete your Account from your account page at any time; deletion takes effect after a 30-day grace period, during which you may cancel it, and ends your Licences without refund except under the Refund Policy or Applicable Law.

20.4 Clauses 6.3 to 6.6, 11.5, 14, 16, 17 and 20 to 30 survive the end of the Agreement.

21. Disclaimer

21.1 The Content is provided for general education and is not professional, financial, legal, tax or career advice. Coding Liquids does not guarantee any level of skill, qualification, employment, income or examination result.

21.2 The Courses demonstrate third-party software and services, such as Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Flutter, Dart and artificial intelligence tools, which Coding Liquids does not provide or answer for and which may require their own licences or fees.

21.3 To the fullest extent permitted by Applicable Law, the Platform, the Content, the Instructor Support Option, the AI Assistant and the Certificates are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties, conditions or representations of any kind, express or implied, including as to satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose, accuracy or uninterrupted operation, save for rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

22. Limitation of Liability

22.1 Nothing in the Agreement excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

22.2 Subject to clause 22.1 and to the fullest extent permitted by Applicable Law: (a) Coding Liquids shall not be liable, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, for any loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill or data, for any indirect, consequential, special or punitive loss, or for any loss arising from reliance on AI Answers, Blog posts or third-party software; (b) the total liability of Coding Liquids shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Licence to which the claim relates or, where you have paid nothing, USD 10; (c) any claim must be brought within one year after its cause arises, failing which it is barred; and (d) Coding Liquids is not liable for the acts or omissions of the Payment Partner, Razorpay, Google or our other providers.

23. Indemnity and Release

23.1 So far as the law permits, you shall indemnify Coding Liquids, the Creators and their personnel against all claims, losses, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your breach of the Agreement, your Learner Content or any copying or sharing of Course Content through your Account, and Coding Liquids may control the defence of any such claim.

23.2 To the same extent, you release Coding Liquids and the Creators from all claims arising out of your disputes with other Learners, Team Administrators or third parties in connection with the Platform. If you live in California, you waive section 1542 of the California Civil Code, which limits general releases to claims known or suspected at the time.

24. Links to Third-Party Websites

24.1 The Platform links to or integrates third-party services, including Google sign-in, the checkout pages of the Payment Partner and Razorpay, our video host’s player, WhatsApp and social media. Coding Liquids does not control them or answer for them, and their own terms and privacy policies apply.

25. Complaints and Grievance Officer

25.1 Complaints may be addressed to our Grievance Officer, Sagnik Bhattacharya, Proprietor, by email to hello@codingliquids.com, or by post or telephone as set out in clause 31.

25.2 We acknowledge each complaint within 48 hours of receipt, give it a reference number, provide you with a copy of the complaint as we have recorded it, and resolve it within one month of receipt.

25.3 Consumers in India may also contact the National Consumer Helpline of the Government of India (1915 or consumerhelpline.gov.in) or the competent consumer commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

26. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

26.1 The Agreement and any dispute arising out of or in connection with it, the Platform or any Course, including non-contractual disputes, are governed by the laws of India, and, subject to clause 27, the courts at Kolkata, West Bengal have exclusive jurisdiction.

26.2 If you are a Consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country in which you habitually reside and any right it gives you to bring proceedings in its courts or consumer forums.

27. Dispute Resolution, Arbitration and Class-Action Waiver

27.1 Before starting proceedings, the party raising a dispute must send the other a written notice describing it and the relief sought (a “Notice of Dispute”), to Coding Liquids at hello@codingliquids.com or to you at your Account email, and the parties shall try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days, during which limitation periods are suspended so far as the law permits.

27.2 Failing resolution, any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to the Agreement, the Courses, the Platform or any Order, including its existence, validity, scope and arbitrability (a “Dispute”), shall be finally resolved by binding individual arbitration, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, before a sole arbitrator appointed by agreement or, failing agreement within 30 days of a request, under that Act. The seat is Kolkata, India, the language is English, hearings may be held on documents or by video conference, the award is final and binding, and costs are borne as the arbitrator decides.

27.3 To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Disputes are resolved only individually, never in a class, collective, consolidated or representative proceeding, and you and Coding Liquids each waive any right to a jury trial.

27.4 Coding Liquids may seek injunctive relief in any competent court to protect its intellectual property or Content or to stop unauthorised access.

27.5 If you are a Consumer whose mandatory local law lets you bring a claim in your local courts or before a consumer commission, forum or dispute body, as in India, the European Union, the United Kingdom and Australia, nothing in this clause removes that right, and clauses 27.2 and 27.3 apply to you only so far as that law permits.

27.6 You may opt out of clauses 27.2 and 27.3 by emailing hello@codingliquids.com with the subject “Arbitration opt-out” within 30 days of first accepting the Agreement, giving your full name and Account email, and you may reject a material change to this clause the same way within 30 days of its taking effect. Opting out affects nothing else.

27.7 Any part of this clause found unenforceable for a Dispute or a person is severed and the rest of the Agreement stands; a claim for which the waiver in clause 27.3 is unenforceable is decided by the courts under clause 26.

27.8 Coding Liquids does not offer to take part in proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

28. Image and Visual Content Licensing

28.1 All photographs, illustrations, graphics, logos and other visual content on the Platform are owned by or licensed to Coding Liquids or the Creators, or used with permission. All rights in them are reserved so far as the law protects them; none is offered under an open or Creative Commons licence or may be reused without our written permission, except as the law permits.

28.2 If you appear in a photograph on the Platform and want it removed or your face obscured, write to us and we will do so promptly.

29. Changes to the Agreement

29.1 We may amend the Agreement. Each version is dated and numbered, and material changes are notified reasonably in advance by email or on the Platform. We may ask you to accept an amendment before you continue using Course Content; otherwise, continued use after its effective date is acceptance, and if you disagree you must stop using the Platform.

29.2 No amendment applies to a Dispute already notified, or shortens the Access Period of a Licence bought before it takes effect, unless Applicable Law requires.

30. Miscellaneous

30.1 The Agreement is the entire agreement between you and Coding Liquids about its subject matter and supersedes all earlier agreements and representations, including, for an Imported Learner from acceptance, the terms of our previous platform; this does not limit liability for fraud.

30.2 An invalid provision is enforced so far as permissible or minimally modified, and the rest remains in force; no delay in exercising a right waives it.

30.3 You may not assign the Agreement without our written consent; we may assign or subcontract it, including to a successor to the business, without reducing your rights as a Consumer.

30.4 We are not liable for failures or delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as outages of providers, networks or power, cyberattacks, natural events, epidemics, war or government action.

30.5 Only you and Coding Liquids may enforce the Agreement, including under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 in the United Kingdom, save that the Creators may enforce clauses 6, 16 and 28.

30.6 The Agreement is concluded in English, which prevails over any translation. Our notices go to your Account email or appear on the Platform; yours go to hello@codingliquids.com or the address in clause 31.
