Refund Policy

Our 14-day money-back guarantee

If a course is not right for you, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of the purchase date. The guarantee applies when both of these are true:

you have watched less than 5% of the course; and
no Certificate of Completion has been issued for it.

This voluntary guarantee comes on top of your legal rights, described below, which these conditions never reduce.

Cancellations

Access starts as soon as your payment is confirmed, so there is no separate cancellation step: to cancel a purchase, ask for a refund under this policy.

How to ask for a refund

Email hello@codingliquids.com from the email address of your account, with your order reference if you have it; or
use the refund request on your account page.

For a purchase made through our payment partner, the help link in its receipt also works.

How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the payment method you used:

purchases paid through Razorpay are refunded by Coding Liquids through Razorpay;
purchases made through our payment partner are refunded by it, as the merchant of record that sold you the course, together with any tax it charged.

We process approved refunds within 14 days of your request; your bank may take a few more working days to show the money. A refund ends your access to the course, including any instructor-support period.

EU and UK: your legal right to cancel

Consumers in the EU, the EEA and the UK normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase. For digital content such as our courses, the right ends once access begins if you asked for immediate access and acknowledged that you would lose the right; accepting the Terms of Use on our order page does both (Terms, clause 18.9), and your course opens the moment the payment is confirmed. Our money-back guarantee still applies, and the full withdrawal information and a model withdrawal form are in our Terms of Use.

Your other legal rights

United Kingdom: under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If it is not, you can ask us to repair or replace it and, if that fails, for a price reduction or a refund.
European Union: you have similar rights to have faulty digital content put right, or to a price reduction or a refund.
Australia: Our courses come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a refund or replacement for a major failure and to have the content fixed if it fails to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
India: you can complain to our grievance officer (see our Legal Notice), and you keep your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, including the right to approach the National Consumer Helpline or a consumer commission.
Canada: some provinces give a 7-day right to cancel an internet purchase in certain circumstances.

These rights do not depend on how much of a course you have watched.

Team plans

Within 14 days of a team purchase, we refund, at the per-seat price paid, any seat that has not been assigned, or whose member has watched less than 5% of the course and has received no certificate. If the team then falls below the size its discount was based on, the refund is adjusted as our Terms of Use explain. Team plans bought by a business are business purchases, to which consumer cancellation rights do not apply.

Chargebacks

Please contact us before disputing a payment with your bank; we can usually sort out a problem quickly. A chargeback ends access to the course, and accounts that abuse chargebacks may be closed.
